What God told me 11years ago when I was tempted to switch to secular – Omolara Ayoola reveals

Popular gospel film actress, Omolara Ayoola has recently revealed what God told her in 2011 when she made an attempt to return back to secular Nollywood industry. According to her, she was tempted to leave gospel film industry for secular but God told her that she had no portion in the midst of the secular filmmakers.

This was revealed via a caption attached to a throwback video clip cropped from a classic Mount Zion Movie titled ‘Foothold’ where she played the role of Jumai (Omolara Ogunsaya) the concubine of Dayo (Doyin Hassan). The movie ‘Foothold’ produced 2011 was written and produced by Evang. Yemi Adepoju.

Sharing the scene where Dayo’s wife unexpectedly met Juami in her husband house, the gospel actress appreciated God for giving her the grace to stand and stay in her faith and the path she chosen. She further thanked those who relentlessly encouraged her and also those who discouraged her for playing their roles in her journey to fulfilment.

In her words; Throw back to about 12yrs ago. Thank God for the Grace to remain in this assignment. I remember in 2011 I was almost tempted to go back to the secular but God told me no portion for me there. Thank you Lord for Grace. Lord help me to continue to stand and stay in this line I have chosen. Let me not disappoint you and look for what’s not lost.

Here is sweeter than there I assure you. Through the help of God Whatever the situation I will not walk away from where Grace has covered me. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me and those who discouraged me, I am grateful to God for bringing you all into my life to groom me. Much
