Even though it was hard to act upon, when the Lord ordered them to empty their bank accounts, yet they all obeyed. Mike Bamiloye revealed that God caused a total turn around in Mount Zion Faith Ministries with several successes recorded just after the total obedience.
He shared;
THE TIME WE DRENCHED THE ALTAR

In last week of December 2012, as we were about to enter 2013, The Lord shocked us to our bones and marrow when He spoke to us during our retreat to do what we had never done before in order to have His covenant with us renewed. He ordered us to Empty our Accounts and place it on the altar. He ordered every member of Mount Zion to empty his or her bank account and bring it to Him. He said we should pour water on the Altar the way Elijah on Mount Camel drench the Altar with water and fire came down and there was abundance of rain later. He said if we wanted the heavens to open up upon us for abundance of rain, we should empty our accounts and bring them to the Altar. It was a great shock to us.
It was an order we received from The Lord and everybody was to obey it, but it took a lot of Boldness and Courage to do that. Everybody went to his or her bank and withdrew whatever was there and took the money to wherever The Lord had led them to drop it: offering boxes, mission fields, missionary offices, etc. I emptied my personal account and stuffed the entire money in an offering bag during the cross over night.
My wife emptied her account containing, even the money meant for production of VCD, and could not bring the cash but converted it into a bank draft and went to the altar and handed it over to the man of God The Lord led her to. We entered into 2013 empty. Every member of Mount Zion did this. We began 2013 with empty purse. It took courage and boldness to take some prophetic steps that would give you an Open Door.
And what was the result of the hard steps we took at the crossover night of 2012/13. God granted us Breakthrough into movie production. A strange move of anointing befell us all. We did what we have never done before. The Sunday NEWSWATCH of December 29, 2013 carried the news of “How Mount Zion Made 20 Movies in 2013”.
The Lord raised drama ministers for us, they came together to help us on various film locations. My wife and I with our son made 4 foreign movies including another 7 we made at home. Each movie producer in Mount Zion made movies, some made 2 films, some made 3.
At times, there were simultaneous film locations going on at the same time. At times, we were out of the country shooting movies and members were at home on locations. Some of our members developed into movie directors, my son suddenly became a cameraman and shot two movies Australia which I directed.
My second son suddenly became a fantastic movie editor who edited “Bosom Fire” and “The Gamble”. Strange move of God came upon Mount Zion, and we could not explain it.
All we can remember is that, there was a strange order from God for us to empty our accounts and place it on the Altar for Him to open the Heaven over us. And He actually did, though in a strange way.
