After eleven years of marriage and waiting, Mr Ernest and Mrs Ruby Obo have been blessed with a bouncy baby boy.
The couple, who are members of the IBE Assembly in the New Mamprobi District in the Dansoman Area of The Church of Pentecost, gave all the glory to the Almighty God.
It was all white on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the christening and dedication of the little Eguze, the name of the baby boy, which means jewel.
The couple said God has rolled away their “shame.” They recounted many occasions when family, friends and loved ones questioned their Christian faith and why they were not ready to seek help from so-called powerful spiritual sources. The pressure affected their marriage, work and education.
Mrs Obo narrated: “At a point, we nearly gave up on God, but for my mother and church members who stood firm in prayer and interceded for us. God has been faithful.
“We thank Apostle Ebenezer Hagan (the Youth Director of The Church of Pentecost), the District Minister, Pastor Sefa Sarfo, Presiding Elder Sackey, Elder John Tackie and church members for their encouragement and prayer.”
