The Founder and Senior Pastor of Living Faith Worldwide Church, Bishop David Oyedepo is currently celebrating his 52^nd year of being in Christ. Speaking at Covenant Hour of Praise (CHoP) this morning, the cleric who could not hide the joy of the salvation he experience and the benefits attached to it took time to declare that Jesus remains the only one that can touch lives and give peace of mind through songs.

While speaking at CHoP, the pastor said his teacher introduced Christ to him in 1969, and the person he gave his first tract to in 1969 is still a member of Winners Chapel with his family members till today. He further revealed that he preached his first message in 1970. He therefore encouraged his church members to get more serious with God and be genuine in all their dealings with Him because there is no one like Him that can give joy, peace and everlasting life.

Blessed be that day when that good lady, my teacher looked at me with the eyes of Jesus’ compassion, “David, you need Jesus” and brought me to Jesus to secure my destiny.

I don’t know. Believe me, I can’t remember what I said.

That is why I say without knowing any man in a setting where ‘you just must know somebody’, they say: You don’t know anybody, you can’t get anywhere.  That’s not true.
I have known no man after the flesh by His grace and He has brought us to where we are today by grace.  – No one can take you any farther, any near to where Jesus will take you.

* You are going somewhere.
Always remind yourself, “I have just been there for 20 years, somebody is testifying 52 years. I must get there!!!” And you will get there.
I just woke up with songs, nothing but songs of gratitude to God: the One that is able to save to the uttermost.
Don’t play games with God:
BE STRAIGHT!
BE GENUINE!
BE SINCERE!
THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM.
