Gospel actress, Omolara Ayoola has reacted to the ongoing protest against police brutality which was planned to be peacefully but was hijacked by hoodlums in order to make it all belligerent and violent.
While reacting through her Facebook and Instagram page, the gospel actress said it is wrong for anyone to point accusing finger just because things didn’t go as planned or was predicted to be rough. She also advised that “unity” is all we all need at a time like this till the government grants the requests of the youths.
To all who are going about saying “I said it, I said it, I told us to stand Down”. Pointing accusing fingers at those who have been protesting peacefully, I beg you stop pointing accusing fingers at anyone.
Don’t try to sound like you made a prophecy we didn’t know would happen. This is what we do every time to ourselves. We come against one another when they try to make nonsense of what we are trying to do. Who does not know that they will try to satotage this whole peaceful protest? And so we start accusing ourselves and give them more justification.
Ask yourself this question sincerely, what would you have done or said if this peaceful protest had turned out successful at this time?. We and our double mouth sha. Please let’s encourage ourselves, especially those who have been at the forefront. It’s not time to start making them feel like that have done something wrong.
Yes, we know we must restrategise, so let’s do it together not try to run ourselves down. We must stand United and not divided. Every one has emotions. Just because police are out there and hoodlums are hijacking this move doesnt make anyone wrong. Instead of accusing ourselves let’s just take it from where we stopped. PRAY….
Yes, our weapon of warfare are not canal, we know and we won’t fight physically but after we have done all we know to do let’s continue to pray. There is time to speak and a time to keep quiet. So if they choose to keep us quiet on the road, they can’t keep us quiet in our closet. Let’s fight on our knees. God will deliver NIGERIA, that’s what He said. So father we give you the WHEEL. DRIVE US AS YOU WILL LORD.
NIGERIA WILL FLOURISH AGAIN. GOD WILL HEAL OUR LAND AND RESTORE US AGAIN.
WE MUST STAND TOGETHER.
