‘Stop forcing Christianity on us with your movies’ – Twitter user reviews Recitation movie, Jaymikee replies
Self-acclaimed husband of popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr, identified with the twitter handle @boyqil_ has passed his review on Recitation movie for further review on twitter.
GFNG had earlier reported that MZFM released her latest movie titled ‘Recitation’ on YouTube on the 9th of April, 2023 shortly after “30 Pieces” movie was made available for thier online audience.
Following the release of Recitation movie, that features the well known skit couple ‘Ohis & Anwili Ojiekere’ popularly known as ‘The Winlos’, the movie has attracted thousands of positive reviews on YouTube and many social media platform.
However, a twitter user with the handle @boyqil_ who watched the movie admitted that recitation was a very powerful movie but it is filled with ‘Christain Agenda’.
Explaining in details what he meant by ‘Christian agenda’, the twitter user said Christian filmmakers are massively doing all they can to ‘enforce’ Christianity on their audience.
Joshua Mike-Bamiloye who seemed surprised by his tweet bursted into laughter noting that the review was one of it’s kind and he was never prepared for it.
Explaining further, @boyqil_ said if gospel filmmakers shoot movies encouraging their audience to accept Christ, they should not be angry if Nollywood filmmakers also pack contents that poses as ‘sin’ in their movies, after all they make what they both believe in.
He ended his tweet saying he has nothing against Recitation movie and gospel films in general. SEE TWEETS BELOW
