Social media users have reacted to a rare gesture of a pastor identified as Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu who decided to gift a widow who treks a long distance to church with her children all the offering money realized from a Sunday service.

The heart-melting incident occurred while the founder of Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministry International, Port Harcourt was delivering a sermon.

In a video, the pastor explained that he was interrupted by the Holy Spirit during his preaching and was instructed to give the church’s offerings to a widow who regularly treks to church with her children.

As he handed over the money to the widow, the pastor revealed that she lost her husband just two weeks prior and was struggling financially.

He also promised to add a sum of N50K to all the money realized in the church that day.

The video on the church page was accompanied by a caption that read:

“GIVE HER ALL THE OFFERING IN IS WHAT HOLYSPIRIT SAID.
A WIDOW WHO LOST HER HUSBAND 2 WEEKS AGO AND TREKKED WITH LITTLE KIDS TO CHURCH.”

However, the pastor’s actions have sparked a range of heartwarming reactions from social media users.

One Iyantan John Holuwaseun wrote: “God bless you Apostle. This gladden my heart. My God be with the widow and her children.”

Desmond Odion wrote: “God bless you more as you continue to bless others both in material and in spirit.” 

Moses O Ogene wrote: “More great grace, just zoom the offering you will know it is grace that run church.”
