Nigerian woman who married at age 50 gives birth to baby at age 71 in cute video

A 71-year-old Nigerian woman is in a celebratory mood after finally welcoming her own baby following 21 years of marriage. Uzo Oge, the new mum’s niece, visited the woman at her house in Port Harcourt with her own mother to share in the good news.

Capturing the visit on camera, Oge said in a TikTok video that her aunt got married at the age of 50 and had lost all hopes of giving birth to a baby.

The excited new mum could not contain her joy as she appreciated God in her native tongue and English.

“Jehovah just did it,” she screamed with her arms spread apart in the air. Her sister also joined in the celebration. She took them into her house to see the healthy newborn girl that came out with no complications.

Carrying the newborn in her arms, Oge’s mum asked the baby where she has been all this while. According to the new mum, she delivered the baby in less than 10 minutes.

Woman, 64, delivers a baby after many years of waiting

Meanwhile, SM had previously reported that a 64-year-old woman had given birth to a baby after 24 years of marriage.

The woman, who got married to her husband Badru Walusimbi in 1996, lives in Nunda Village in Lwabenge Sub County, Kalungu District in Uganda.

It was gathered that the woman tried having babies in her first marriage (1973-1987) with another man, but had an ectopic pregnancy where the baby developed outside the main cavity of the uterus and did not survive.

The woman, who hit menopause at the age of 45, has finally been blessed with a child with her second husband despite her advanced age.
