Should we call this coincidence or a confirmation of one of the messages meant for a time like this passed down from above to men and women of various fields and callings.
Abiodun Emmanuel Oyedele, the writer of the book about to be published could not hide his feelings instead sharing the intersection between the movie produced by Bola Akande and his book having thesame title “BROKEN”.

MY PIECES FROM “BROKEN”
Yesterday, 26th December 2018 gave me another perspective about visions, dreams and aspirations. I have learnt, that whatsoever a man receives from the Lord as an inspiration is not just for God to show His supremacy, but to pass a timely message through the visionary to His targeted audience. The inspiration of the Lord is like a seed, scattered and spread abroad into the soil-like souls of men. When it comes to a timely message from God, there is no monopoly of inspiration, as He releases the seed into many minds at the same time. Of course, depending on God, and His strategy to reach His desired audience, the seed of inspiration is released to men and women of various fields, sometimes depending on their access to His audience and the resources to make the vision a reality. I have not stopped believing and experiencing the fact, that God’s project is God’s budget. That is, when the Lord gives a man a vision, He makes provision for everything that the vision needs to become a reality; if it is God’s will, it is God’s bill.
Sitting down beside my beloved Sweetheart at the cinema yesterday evening to watch the movie BROKEN. At first, it was a coincidence to see at about the same time, a movie of the same title with my about to be published book. Watching the movie, I couldn’t hide my feelings, in fact, I didn’t know when it came out of my mouth; this is my book. My queen to be heard me, and she held my left hand saying to my ears; “Don’t worry Emmanuel, God will provide”. I was not going to cry, but I was close to tears. If my book had been published as at the time planned, it would have been like a forerunner to the movie, while the movie complements one of the subjects discussed in one of the chapters of the book.
Guess what? I woke up with one of the lines in the movie this morning, that was exactly the same words I heard the Holy Spirit dropped into my spirit as I meditate in the early hours of today. I have been led to share this, perhaps as my end of the year gift to somebody, or my pre-birthday article.
Morenike, a character in the movie had been a victim of sexual assault from her teenage days. The man that assaulted her turned out to be her father, who abandoned her for years; but fell in love with her on his return home. Morenike found it difficult to recover from the mess, as she just could not get satisfied sexually; she jumped from men to men. The assault continued, but on a fateful day, she decided to fight back, and eventually ended up attempting suicide. Thanks to the Warri boy, Collins, a young believer, who rescued her from the flowing and sinking river. The statement that woke me up this morning was spoken by Collins to Morenike while preaching Jesus to her.
Permit me to share the same words with you on this day, even as the year draws closer to an end; God can still fix you. You might have been broken to pieces in the past by several assaults and unimaginable experiences, or rather, at the moment, you are still being broken by a recurring challenge in your life; God can still fix you! I have been privileged to meet many ladies during counselling sessions, coming out to reveal, that they don’t think they can get better. Several people have spoken to me on several occasions that at times my natural mind could be tempted to agree with them, but counselling them by the leading of the Spirit, I have always revealed to them that God can still fix them.
If truly we are likened to clayey vessels in the hands of God The Potter, then, it is not erroneous to believe that The Potter can fix any part of the pot that has been broken, even if it is the whole pot. God can still fix you!
I hear in my Spirit, that there is somebody reading this article that prefers to die right now. If the fellow be given the option to die, death would have been mostly preferred. (Praying in The Spirit right now). Get this registered into your spirit- God had not allowed you to die, in order to fix you. Oh my! You have walked on the paths of death. You were almost killing yourself. Didn’t you almost lose your life when you terminated that pregnancy? Has the doctor not told you that you have no hope of conceiving again? God has kept you alive, in order to fix you!
I see a young man like myself, battling with certain emotional challenges. I know how terrible things have been for you. I am aware that you are a drug addict, you have found it difficult to get detached from pornography and masturbation. I know that you have slept with different girls in the last few months, and you don’t even want to calculate the ones you have had in years. I am aware that you have accepted your weakness as your fate, and you don’t think there is a way out. There is a young minister reading this, who is struggling with secret sins; who had tried to get out of the mess for so long, yet, for years it kept coming, and the anointing had not stopped flowing. God is fixing you today!
I hear in my Spirit, that there are certain things that had been in operation in your life before now that will no longer find expression in the new year. I see the yokes of sickness being broken; I know of someone reading this right now who is getting fixed. Whatsoever in your life is in shambles; your prayer altar, your emotional life, your finances, your marriage…name it! Anything lying as a waste in the valley of dry bones is getting fixed. God is fixing somebody’s relationship. There is a broken destiny that is now being fixed. Glory to Jesus Christ! He is Lord. If He had never been The Lord of your life, or perhaps you
had walked away from Him over and over again. I beseech you today, to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Hallelujah!
Anyone who knows the producer of the movie BROKEN, Bola Akande, should tell him or her, that the author of the book BROKEN is blessed watching the movie. What you have read above are my own pieces, picked from the movie; BROKEN.
Compliments of the Season! I love you.
