‘Most times, those who are very close to ‘men of God’ rarely experience the power of God because of their overfamiliarity’ – Mike Bamiloye

The Founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Evang. Mike Bamiloye has called the attentions of his Facebook followers to one of the possible reasons that may hinder the move of God through his servant to be experienced by his close associates.

Citing some biblical characters, the gospel filmmaker noted that it is wise to understand the place of appreciating God’s power working in the lives of Men of God and leaders so as to be a partaker in the move of God.

In his words;

“When you are following a leader very closely either physically or spiritually, what are you seeing working in him and working behind him?

Now I am talking about following a Heavenly-Bound, heavenly conscious Godly Leader and father in the Lord.

Elisha clearly saw the Powers working behind his master, and he had the double portion of that same power.

YOU DO NOT RECEIVE WHAT YOU DO NOT APPRECIATE.

Every God-Ordained leader has a divine Power of Commissioning and Authority working behind him, and only those who could recognize and appreciate that Power can tap into it.

In Matthew 9:20, the Woman with the Issue of blood only touched the hem of the garment of Jesus.

She did not even touch the body or the hand of Jesus, just the tip of his cloth and the issue of blood stopped. whereas the multitude of crowd who were pushing Him and thronging Him had no miracle.

YOU CAN NOT TAP INTO THE POWER YOU DO NOT APPRECIATE.

In Number Chapter 12, when Aaron and Miriam stood up against MOSES because he had married an Ethiopian woman, and began to harass him because they thought they were older than him and heas their junior brother, THE POWER WORKING BEHIND HIM APPEARED AT THE TABERNACLE.

The Lord spoke out of the pillar of cloud and rebuked Miriam. Immediately, she was struck with leprosy and she became a leper instantly.

SHE DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE POWER WORKING BEHIND HER JUNIOR BROTHER.

She did not know that Moses may be her junior brother at home, but he had received a Power and a Mandate of a Prophet of a whole nation which no one must despise.

Too much familiarity with our Godly Pastors and heavenly-minded MEN of God had made a lot of people to miss the opportunity of tapping into the Power working behind him.

A lot of Pastor’s Associates or Associate Pastors or Assistant or Vice President have lost the opportunity of tapping into the Power working Behind their Godly and Heavenly-Conscious leaders and Mentors and Pastors. Too much familiarity.

They have been too close and seen all his weaknesses.

They have lived with him and seen how he eats and talks in the comfort of his home.

So, when power begins to manifest at crusade ground and anointing begins to move in the congregation, they are left untouched and uncharged, because they know MAN that is ministering “very well”.

Mark very well, those who live in Pastors’ or Ministers’ house. Mark the drivers who drive them around.

Mark the Associates and Assistants very well, and mark their close relatives ONLY VERY FEW OF THEM, WHO TREMBLE BEFORE THE POWER OF GOD WORKING BEHIND THEM, USUALLY TAP INTO THE POWERS OF THE GODLY MINISTERS.

They would be influenced by the Godly virtues, the humility, the grace, the gentleness or the rugged faith, the sweet spirit and wisdom of counseling, etc.

BUT if your closeness to THE MAN OF GOD or your Godly Ministry Leader or President or Godly Pastor, has bestowed upon you the spirit of Fault-Finding and Criticisms, SUCH PERSON CAN NEVER HAVE ACCESS TO THE SECRET OF THE POWER BEHIND THE GODLY MAN OF GOD.

Elisha did not only see the “MAN” of God, he also saw “THE POWER OF GOD” working behind the “MAN OF GOD” and he reverently shouted and acknowledged it.

If you are privilegedly positioned very close to a Godly Man of God as his secretary, Associate, Assistant or assisting him in one way or the other, as driver, cook, servant, etc, position yourself very well to APPRECIATE HIM and ACKNOWLEDGE the Power working behind him SO THAT YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO TAP INTO IT.

Don’t see the MAN only. See also the CHARIOT AND THE HORSES OF FIRE behind him.
