The Nigeria Police has arrested Azeez Adeshina Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley over an ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of the singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The news was arrested by police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin.
He wrote, ” Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities”
Recall that the Naira Marley had earlier announced his return to Nigeria to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, MohBad.
The singer revealed in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he would also be meeting with the Police.
“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole,”
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
