“It was necessary” Ini Edo replies Mike Bamiloye, other critics of n¥dity in Shanty Town
Actress and mum, Ini Edo who was involved in the production of the highly talked about Shanty Town Movie, has finally responded to critics of the loud n¥dity in the Nollywood series.
This is coming after the founder of Mount Zion Ministries, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye tackled Nigerian celebrities, particularly actors and actresses who promote n¥dity , romance, and other social vices with their movies.
Responding to the critics in a chat with BBC Pidgin, Ini Edo who played the role of ‘Inem’ in Shanty Town explained that it was impossible for the movie to be shot without n¥de scenes considering that the focus of the story is on crime and pr0stitution.
According to her, it would be impossible to properly pass across the message of the movie without displaying some s** scene.
Ini Edo further stressed that Shanty Town is a story about crime and pr0stitution and one can’t tell such a story without displaying n¥dity.
The thespian noted that going [email protected] wasn’t aimed at debasing anyone rather it was in a bid to make the movie look so real.
The veteran movie star also berated the excessive emphasis placed on a woman’s body.
while urging people to begin to see a lady’s body as a mere creation of God without weird reasonings attached.

Meanwhile, controversial socialite and businessman, Pretty Mike has revealed that he was traumatized after watching the Shanty Town series.
Shanty Town is a six-episode violent series that revolves around an undercover detective on a revenge mission.
who infiltrates a crime ring and uncovers damning information on their activities and associates.
Reacting to the plot, setting, and storyline of Shanty Town, Pretty Mike noted that he is traumatized.
He noted that the series portrays the reality of some people.
Pretty Mike prayed for those who live in slums whose horror never ends; he disclose that he would never complain again about the things he doesn’t have.
He seized the opportunity to advise Nigerians to make the right decisions in the upcoming general elections before their reality becomes a shanty town.
