It is no longer news that our dear country, Nigeria is in deep crisis after unharmed #EndSARS protesters were killed at Lekki Toll Gate two days ago, 20th Oct., 2020.
Protesters were attacked by military personnel who opened fire on them not long after curfew was announced in Lagos State. However, the Nigerian Army said there was no soldier at the scene but videos making it viral proved that soldiers were at the protest ground and they opened fire at the peaceful protesters.
While reacting to the current situation of Nigeria, popular gospel film maker, Kolade Segun Okeowo expressed his grief in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel where he strongly condemned the act and also sent condolences to the families of those who fell victim of the massacre.
KSO, who was compassionate about the current state of the nation said he was disappointed in the government of Nigeria and the only way to get them off power is to massively vote the “Unjust and blood sucking leaders” out 2023.
“I feel very sad for the parents of those who have been murdered. Any one of them could have been my son, daughter, brother or sister. This is the height of injustice and insensitivity on the part of the government. I am completely disturbed, I feel disappointed with the government of Nigeria. If there is anything we must do, it is to vote out people who are unjust and have decided to suck blood, those who do not listen to the yelling of their people” He said.
KSO went further to bring to the reminder of the of Nigerians to make do of what they have in 2023 by seizing power through the means of their votes as the time is already near.
He finally urged everyone to vote the right and suitable candidate in 2023 without making religion, tribe and ethnicity the factors to be considered before a candidate can be voted for.
He also added that anyone who dare trade their votes with goodies (money, cloth, oil or rice) is already cursed.
In his words; I do not only believe in protest, I believe also in seizing power not by violent means but by the means of ballot box, 2023 is close by. If in 2023, you vote because of money, 6 yards of cloth, groundnut oil, rice, you are cursed. Those that stay at home watching television on the day of election, this is what you have done to Nigeria. 2023, stand out and vote for your conscience. 2023 is not about money, religion, ethnicity or tribe, it is all about the soul of Nigerians.
