I DID NOT COME INTO DRAMA MINISTRY BECAUSE OF MONEY OR FAME. – Victor Olukoju
Gospel Film Producer and actor Pastor Victor Olukoju, popularly known as PVO, has taken to social media to announce that he did not come into Drama ministry because of money or fame but rather to fulfill God’s call.
This post was made as caption when PVO shared Evangelist Mike Bamiloye’s open charge to drama Ministers who believe showing secular actors’ faces in their movies, using sophisticated equipments to shoot movies or waiting till they have millions for film project before they can reach out to more souls. Evangelist Mike Bamiloye however drew a line of what differentiates secular actors and gospel drama Ministers, secular productions and gospel film productions, he also encouraged them to think less of fame and money as their reward when embarking of Gospel Film projects.
Read what PVO wrote;
I did not come into Drama ministry because of money or fame.
I came to fulfill God’s call.
If money and fame come in doing this, glory to God.
If they don’t, great! The work must be done.
The Drama Ministry falls under “foolishness of God.”
1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
How could I have paid over a hundred cast that came for Akobi Laaroye 1 and 2?
Only God can reward all these brethren oo. Only God.
And He is doing it.
Is it not even possible that you finish shooting a movie and God says, “I want you to go to the streets and distribute it for free!”
If this is what some call foolishness, then I agree I am a fool for Christ and I am not ashamed to be called one.
He is the owner of His work.
Let those who are into industry do it and leave those who are into ministry.
The lanes are different.
Like David, I am not a professional but the Goliaths of Gath are coming down. In this I rejoice.
As I remain faithful and focused as David, God will surely give me the professional sword of Goliath to use.
The testimonies of changed lives and souls coming to the kingdom are enough motivation for me.
If God chooses not to prosper me for working for Him, so be it.
If poverty is the reward of God for His faithful soldiers, then I want poverty!
But God is not wicked. We are seeing His hands. He is blessing our lives and homes.
We are not begging bread.
It is not possible to have all the rewards here.
Stay in your lane brethren. Keep serving Him. He is not a wicked God. He will reward us.
If you keep your script under the shelve because you are looking for millions and so called professionals, remember that some who are meant to see your movie before they enter into eternity are dying daily. Death waits for no man!
Use your all.
Use your best.
God will honour it.
God will increase and reward it.
Thanks Daddy Mike Bamiloye for this.
Thanks for encouraging us to keep moving on.
We will not be tired and we shall be many!
