Bundle of talents, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye has dished out some live changing advices on how best to balance and manage being a multi-talented individual. This discussion was brought on board following a tweet made by a twitter influencer, Dr. Chinonso Egemba with the twitter handle ‘@aproko_doctor’ after he asked his followers on how to focus on a single talent if one has many of it.
Replying to the question, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye said he got the best advice from his dad, Evang. Mike Bamiloye as his dad said the best way to handle multiple talents is to highlight the talents and categorize them.
Explaining further, he claimed his dad said the gift/talent posing as the one such individual is passionate about and gives most fulfillment should be the primary and should be given more priority over other talents or gifts as other gifts will automatically support the primary gift in all areas.
In his words; I get asked this question a lot and frankly; many times I get jealous of people that have, and focus on just one thing. Got the best of advice from dad; he said categorize your gifts. The one you’re most passionate about and gives the most fulfillment is your Primary.
The primary takes more priority hence, You’ll spend more time on that one than on others. Your secondary gift will complement/support the primary gift either financially, technically etc. You can focus on several talents as long as you prioritize them.
