A veteran gospel drama minister, Evang. Wole Olayiwola has gone to be with the Lord.

According to Gospel Film News, the news of Evang. Wole Olayiwola’s demise was made public by the Chairman of the Mount Zion Institute Forum, Evang. Segun Badejo via a memo. The media outlet also noted that Evang. Wole Olayiwola slept in the Lord on November 18, 2023, in Abuja after a brief illness.

The post reads: “it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Drama Missionary and servant of God, Evangelist Wole Olayiwola.

He will be remembered for his deep love for God and his tireless work in spreading the Word. We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”

A quick check on his Facebook timeline and recent photos shows that many gospel drama ministers have left condolence notes and prayers for Wole Olayiwola’s family members.

Before his demise, he was a seasoned gospel drama minister on stage and on screen. He appeared in many gospel movies, which include Akobi Laaroye, Oosa.
