GRACE COMMISSION MINISTRY has long existed as a shadow of what would be, when I was still disobedient to the heavenly vision. I was a secondary school boy who only wanted to use my natural gifts of creative art for fame and encomium. So, I started a drama group named God’s Grace Drama Group. The group only lasted through my academic years in secondary school and that was the end of it. After my genuine conversion in year 2000, I had joined the drama drama in my Church. Some years later, I started feeling a new fire in my bones, prompting me to surrender my all to drama ministry, but I thought the only way to respond to the call was to pull out of the Church drama group. Eventually, I did pull out and started an independent drama ministry named Menfishers, which also did not last two years, because God called me to order. I began to sense uncomfortable, despite the testimonies and wonders following our ministrations… I can’t forget that day that God chastised me from His word. I cried bitterly in my parents’ bedroom. The next meeting, I stood before the other four members to tell them “God has not approved this drama ministry” and the members were both stunned and disappointed. They had found solace and fulfilment in the ministry. Some of them had been nurtured to maturity during our weekly prayers and Bible study, but I still dissolved the group and resumed to the Church drama group as a prodigal son.
I was pardoned and accepted as a member again. I was there for few more years when God called me in the year 2010 to start Commission of Grace Ministries now GRACE COMMISSION MINISTRY. The ministry started when I was an undergraduate of Obafemi Awolowo University. The ministry presently has two members but we sometimes work with our partners. We call them Partners of Grace Network.
