FILMMAKING IS NOT A BUSINESS, IT’S A LIFE CHANGING VENTURE/MINISTRY – KUNLE ADEPOJU
Kunle Adepoju, one of the top notch cinematographers who has worked with many well known gospel filmmakers has released another film making tip that got the attention of many silent social media users especially the filmmakers.
He wrote;
Filmmaking is not a business, it’s a life-changing venture/ministry… You either influence your audience for good or for the worse… I am a filmmaker, I influence life positively. Happy new month!
As expected, one of his Facebook friends identified as the CEO of Winning side Photography dissented with a claim that ‘… even Jesus the Christ sees the work of God as a business’.
To buttress this tip, Kunle Adepoju added that monetary gain shouldn’t be the primary reason behind making films, in other words, if monetary gain is the primary reason, such project is assumed to be a business.
He wrote;
SEQUEL TO MARCH 1ST BONUS TIP
When monetary gain is your primary reason for producing a movie you may likely not have a good impact on your audience. Filmmaking is first pure to impact lives.
As a filmmaker, you need to get your primary reason for making that movie right.
Enjoy the new week.
