FBVCA sets for 2nd edition as organizers announce event date, procedures

Fejosbaba TV, a prominent media outlet under the leadership of Evang. Femi Adebile, has announced the second season of the Fejos Baba Viewers’ Choice Awards (FBVCA). The prestigious awards ceremony, which aims to celebrate excellence in the gospel film industry, is set to showcase a diverse array of talent and creativity.

With the success of the inaugural edition that was held a year ago, the anticipation for the second FBVCA edition is palpable among fans and industry insiders alike. The awards seek to recognize outstanding achievements in various categories, including film producers, writers, ministries, and bloggers.

The upcoming event is scheduled to be held on April 13, 2024, during the Fejosbaba Talent Workshop and promises to be a night to remember, with special guests, ministrations, and award presentations honoring the best and brightest creatives according to viewers’ votes.

UPDATE: Part of the official press release shared few minutes ago about the event reads;

“After an exciting and mind-blowing, grand maiden edition in April 2023, the Fejosbaba Viewers’ Choice Awards organizers, Fejosbaba TV in association with PREM FILMS PRODUCTION, INT’L, will recognize and celebrate the best gospel films, actors (drama ministers), and Christian creatives in a grand ceremony, at the second edition this year, April 2024.

The FBVCA is a Christian body that recognizes and celebrates drama ministers, gospel film producers, Christian creatives, and broadly Christian entertainment in faith-based filmmaking and gospel entertainment parlance in Nigeria.

To this end, the organizers are calling out on all Gospel film lovers, Christians, and everyone else who has been blessed and impacted by the beautiful works God does through our great masterpieces in Gospel films to vote on their choices to win different categories of awards. The voting portal opens, (February 26th) and closes (March 26th).

All films, made for television movies or series, so long as they are 2023 movies, which is the year under review), are eligible and have been selected by the Jury.

The Voting is to be done online via a link that would be provided following this press release. The second edition will award winners in 14 categories, 10 voting and 4 Non-voting categories (recognition awards and lifetime achievements).”
