‘Fear didn’t let him watch’ – Omolara Ayoola teases her husband over Nigeria vs. Angola’s faceoff

Popular gospel filmmaker, Omolara Ayoola has jokingly teased her husband for choosing not to watch the quarterfinal encounter between Nigeria and Angola, which took place on Friday, February 2, at 6 p.m. at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.

The actress took to the comment section of PRODRAM President Ayobami Olugboyeg’s post, where he announced Nigeria’s victory after the 90-minute+ match, to reveal what happened in their house during the match.

According to Omolara Ayoola, her husband, Olugbenga Ayoola could not sit to watch the faceoff because he was scared of his country losing but he prefers to use all his energy to proxy-coach other teams from his house when they make wrong moves on the pitch.

She concluded by saying she didn’t mention her husband’s name or refer to him despite adding her husband’s Instagram username. SEE SCREENSHOT BELOW

GFNG had earlier reported that popular gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassy shared details of a vision he had regarding the Nigeria vs. Angola game a few hours before the match started.

Nathaniel implored the Super Eagles not to waste goal opportunities against Angola.

He wrote:

“Well, tomorrow we must take every chance that comes our way. It’s not the day to miss chances. I saw two people on the bench crying. May we not have cause to weep about the match and any of our players. If we have to weep, may it be for joy ooo. Amen. So it lifts the nation. It’s been tough lately.”
