The visioner and president of THE VISION CARRIER MINISTRY, Lady Evang. Gloria Bamiloye has sent out a word of advice, addressing one of the noticeable issues amidst Christians. In one of her posts on Daily Tonic titled “Judge Not”, the popular filmmaker addressed chiefly those who believe and assume doctrines aside theirs should be labeled “awry”.
Romans 14:4,10,13 KJV
Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
There may be differences in doctrine but one God and Christ . How they do things in your church may be different from mine but we are all brethren because we have the same spirit of Christ. We have different culture and background which may not totally be excluded from our lifestyles and may influence our doctrine .
That is to say no doctrine is perfect . But as we grow in faith and in Christ the Holyspirit will point to us and bring to our understanding whichever aspect we need to adjust or discard . That is why you need to be careful how you judge others because some in their bid to correct what they think is wrong have become so hurtful that hey end up in serious bitterness against their fellow brethren 13] Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
That is how to walk in Love. Whatever you do or allowed must not lead people to hell. Dress well and adorn yourself in a away that will glorify God and not to stir up lust in people . When that happens, you don’t walk in love. In whatever you do or allowed think of Christ and the people he came to died for because Christianity is not only about yourself but also about others.
Prayer: May God help us and teach us to walk in love in Jesus name.
