The President of PRODRAM, Evang. Ayobami Adegboyega is believed by many to be one of the most underrated gospel filmmaker in Nigeria.
The filmmaker has been showed love by a Facebook user, Jeremiah E. Alienyi who averred that the filmmaker is among the same caliber as popular movie makers when it comes to filmmaking mastery.
Jeremiah E. Alienyi who sincerely noted that he initially felt reluctant after his friend recommended one Ayobami Adegboyega’s movie titled ‘Resolute Heart’, but after watching some episodes of the series, he concluded that his movies are different from recycled stories many Nigerian gospel movie makers make.
He opined that Ayobami Adegboyega has obviously invested his time, energy and resources to make movies with high level of excellence, professionalism and sound messages.
He further prayed that God will continue to bless the source that funds his movies will never experience drought. He also encouraged his friends on Facebook to check his YouTube channel to get blessed by his movies.
In his words; Ayobami Adegboyega is the most underrated Nigerian Christian filmmaker I’ve ever known! Grace Victoria Ibitomisin recommended I watch one of his movies, Resolute Heart a few weeks ago, and to be frank, I was reluctant to go see it.
I only watch selected ministries’ movies because of the level of mediocrity and recycling of the same method and messages akin to most of them. But when I started watching his movie, I couldn’t stop to wonder if this was coming from a Nigerian gospel filmmaker. The level of excellence, professionalism, and soundness of its messages are mind-blowing.
I can’t keep quiet when I see something good so I decided to talk about this unique and humble gospel filmmaker. And to think that he churns out such quality movies every Friday is unfathomable.
I don’t know how he does it as a Christian Nigerian filmmaker, but I pray that where the resources are coming from will not dry up and more and more people will support his vision in Jesus’ name!
