Folarin a 45 year old Pentecostal Christian and city pastor from South West Nigeria (Yoruba) is married to Chidinma;a South Easter Nigerian (Ibo) The differences of their background bring very harsh strain upon their lives especially form the 67 year old mother who believes Chidinma has stolen the heart of her son away to practice a strange brand of Christianity. Folarin is under constant pressure from his mother to return home and perform necessary rituals, a pre requisite for ancestral blessings and antidote to the 13 year delay in childbirth experienced by the couple. The situation is worsened by the consistent threat of the Sango Cult Priest who had become a source of fear and trepidation to the old woman. A conspiracy hacked by two fellow Pastors in the same church leads to Folarin being transferred from the city to Edunabon, his home town where his fetish mother lives. Church regulation, which requires the wife to follow her husband to any station of transfer leads to another major crisis in the home. Unknown to both, a mixture of battle and breakthrough in untold and unexpected dimensions await them at the village.
